Historical Notes
North Hall was built in 1890-91 and originally housed Scandinavian and German students. It was owned by the Nebraska Sanitarium from 1905 to 1919. After the college bought back the building, it became the women's residence hall. The Rock Pile was started as a class gift in 1898. Over the years, subsequent classes added to it, and it still exists today.
