Historical Notes
East Hall was built in 1909 when additional housing was needed for men. Residents called it the "White House" and designated themselves "Senators." Students living in the college's more substantial dormitories called it the "Cracker Box." In 1922 it was renovated and renamed the Normal Building. It housed the elementary school until 1958.
