Four men sit on the bumper and running board of a delivery truck with a canvas cover over the back with a painted slogan: Ship by Truck, Firestone, Most Miles Per Dollar. The truck is parked in front of the Standard Auto Tire Company, a dealer for Firestone Tires, located at 244-246 S, Lincoln. 11th Street, Lincoln. In the building to the left, a sign identifies Rosenstock Tire Company located at 234 S. 11th Street.
According to the Lincoln City Directory, 1920, Dee Eiche was manager of Standard Auto Tire Company, and John Rosenstock owned Rosenstock Tire Company. Between 1918 and 1920, Standard Auto Tire Company moved down the street from 234 S. 11th Street and Rosenstock Tire Company took over that storefront.
