This map shows a drawing of an overhead view of Omaha, Nebraska. The Missouri River is visible in the foreground with several boats on its surface. The buildings of Omaha, organized along a grid of streets, stretch into the distance, with open land beyond them. Drawings of Turner's Hall, Central Block, Cald Well Block, and the Capitol appear along the bottom edge of the map. The locations of nineteen prominent Omaha buildings, including eleven churches, are indicated with numbers and identified in a legend at the bottom of the map. "Drawn by A. Ruger" is printed in the lower left corner, and "Chicago Lithographing Co., Chicago" is printed in the lower right corner.
