Color postcard (14 x 9 cm) captioned "Public Park, Fremont, Nebr." in red type in the bottom left in the white border at the bottom of the card. Below it are the words "Hand Colored, L. V. Stump The Bookman, Pub." This park is now known as John C. Fremont Park, looking toward the northwest from about the corner of 8th & Main. The trees are fairly large and there is snow on the ground. There is a large tall monument to the left and a couple of canons by a structure to the right.
