A two-story brick and terra cotta rectangular building with basement sat at about 11th and R Streets in Lincoln. The front door is flanked by columns and topped by a classical pediment. The 5-1/4" x 3-3/8" postcard shows the surrounding trees in full leaf. A simple pipe fence encloses the lawn around the building.
Designed by Thomas R. Kimball, the Administration Building was constructed by Stephens Brothers in 1905-1906 for approximately $35,000. The building was razed in 1963 and several years later the site was used for the Sheldon Gallery Sculpture Garden.
