The Chicago and Northwester (C&NW) Freight Station appears in the background to the right of this shot. The south side of the Brunswick Hotel and Restaurant is visible in the distance as is the round cupola of the Dodge County Court House. The smaller cupola is on the roof of the Ruwe Block. Transportation modes include horse drawn wagons, bicycles and steam locomotives. Numerous railway passenger cars may also be noted.
