Description
Three men and two women are standing in front of a brick building in this 8" x 10" black and white acetate negative. The group is wearing business attire, with the women in dark dresses and the men in suits. "Administration Office" is painted over the building's door, and there is a metal plaque next to the door.
The Logan Fontenelle Housing Project was located from 20th to 24th Streets and from Paul to Clark Streets in the Near North Side neighborhood of Omaha, Nebraska. Built by the Public Works Administration for working class families in 1938, the last of the housing was razed in 1995.
