Historical Notes
Harry West was born to James Albert and Phoebe Jane West who came to Nebraska in 1871 and settled on a farm southwest of Bellwood, Nebraska. Besides farming, Mr. West was also a blacksmith. Harry was one of their seven children. He married Anna Ladwig.
