Historical Notes
Sarah Elizabeth Malloy was born in Maryland, August 1854. She married Samuel P. Vandoozer, who was minister, living in Osceola, Nebraska. Samuel and Sarah had two sons: Jessie and Arthur. According to the 1900 census, Sarah was widowed and living in David City, where she was a music teacher. She married Matt Miller, September 6, 1905. According to the 1930 Census, following Matt's death, she was still living in David City. No further historical data can be found. Matt is buried in the David City cemetery but she is not buried with him.
