Sixteen men dressed in baseball uniforms pose on a grass field in front of bleachers. Their uniforms are white with thin dark stripes, white and black socks, black belts, and caps. All the men wear long-sleeved knit undershirts under their shirts with elbow length sleeves. "Lincoln" is printed down the front of the shirts' button plackets.
According to Polk's City Directory of Lincoln, 1914, Lincoln Baseball Company offices were located at 323 in the Funke Building. Hugh L. Jones was the President, Charles N. Moon the Secretary, and Charles C. Mullen the Manager.
