Six Oldsmobile automobiles sit in front Nebraska State Capitol Building in Lincoln. The cars are parked to form a semi-circle on the grass and in the street. A sign hung on one of the cars says: One of the first autos in Nebraska, Oldsmobile, Nebraska Oldsmobile Company, 1333 P Street.
According to the Lincoln City Directory, 1918, R.A. Harvey, was president of the Nebraska Oldsmobile Company, and Charles A. Tucker served as vice president and secretary. The second (of three) Nebraska State Capitol building was built in 1882 at a cost of $75,817.50.
