Centered in this photograph which looks north-northeast is the Burlington and Missouri River Railroad Depot, located at the corner of North 7th and P Streets in Lincoln. The depot is a large three story brick building facing numerous railroad tracks, several lined with passenger cars, on its west side. The building beyond the tracks at the right belongs to the Beatrice Creamery Company. Businesses across from the depot include a chop house and saloons.
According to the Lincoln City Directory, 1900, the Burlington & Missouri River ticket office was located at 1000 O Street where George W. Bonnell was the city passenger and ticket agent, and Arthur C. Ziemer a ticket agent.
