The buildings in this photograph are, left to right: Nugget office (newspaper), P.O. Hedland Courthouse, S.A. Dravo Law Office (to the rear), J.P. Hymer dwelling, William Wilcox dwelling, Rittenhouse Bros. Law Office, Hopwood Drug Store, Hymer Hardware. Williamsburg was the first county seat of Phelps County, established February 11, 1873. The county seat was moved to Phelps Center in 1879.
