A line of nine men are on horseback. In front of them, eight more men are seated on the ground with their horses lying next to them. The second seated man from the right is George W. Johnson of Holdrege.
This photo was taken in the arena in Brooklyn, New York, at a performance of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show in 1894. George W. Johnson is now buried at the Moses Hill Cemetery in Phelps County.
