Color postcard (14 x 9 cm.) with an exterior view from the veranda of the Happy Hollow Club House at 54th and Underwood in Omaha, Nebraska. Numerous trees and a cow pasture are visible.
The Happy Hollow Country Club was organized in 1907. The members purchased Happy Hollow, the land and mansion just west of the Dundee neighborhood owned by John Nelson Hayes Patrick. Patrick had helped develop Dundee area. The mansion came with a private golf course developed by Patrick and the mansion was used as a clubhouse. This image is taken from the porch of that mansion.
