In this black and white photograph, a crowd is gathered outside a pavilion at Riverview Park, located at 3625 S. 10th Street in Omaha, Nebraska. Most of the people are seated in benches in front of the pavilion, but some are standing. The pavilion is a stone structure with many columns and decorative pediments. There are several large trees in front of the pavilion.
This pavilion was constructed from architectural elements salvaged from the Boys and Girls building at the 1898 Trans-Mississippi Exposition. Source: Spencer, Jeffrey. Historic Photos of Omaha. Nashville: Turner Publishing, 2007, p. 110.
