Solarium, "B" building, Nebraska Hospital for the Insane, Lincoln
Description
Two nurses in uniform dresses, aprons and caps stand at the far end of a large, light-filled room in this 6-1/2" x 4" black and white plate. Twin metal-frame beds line the three visible sides of the room, only two at the far end have patients in them. Striped roller shades hang at the windows, and small tables with linens and potted plants, rocking chairs and divider screens sit around the room.
