The two-story white brick building in this 6-1/2" x 4" black and white plate is lined with windows and has a chimney at either end. At the left, the sleeping porch is attached to the south end of the old main building. A sidewalk leads to the steps up to its entrance door.

Historical Notes
The new porch replaced an old dilapidated porch. The upper story was used as a sleeping room by the nurses. Officers and other employees at times slept in the first level of the porch. Further statistics and information can be found in the report.
