The Corn and Alfalfa Milling Company is housed in a five story grain elevator located at 821 Dodge Street which appears to be a dirt street. The wooden structure has been recently clad in corrugated metal siding and its "6 on 6" paned windows date from a much earlier time period. A small scale house appears to the right and some 1920s automobiles are parked nearby. The power house with its very tall smoke stack is seen at the right of the view. Utility poles, power lines, and electrical transformers are also part of the scene, as is a metal grain or feed hopper extending out from the wall on the third story. Readily visible signs read: "Corn and Alfalfa Milling Co." "Corn and Alfalfa Milling Co., E. Fredrickson, Pres." and "We Will Grind Any Kind Grain Any Way You Want It.
