This 4-1/2" x 6-1/2" black and white drawing is an architectural rendering of a fifteen-story brick building. The building has a concrete awning over the sidewalk on the entrance side and decorative stonework on the top. There are people walking on the sidewalk in front of the building and a car parked on the street. "Sharp Bldg" is written on the drawing.
The Sharp Building at the southeast corner of S. 13th and N Streets in Lincoln, Nebraska was constructed in 1928, the year these images appear to have been taken. Therefore this building is portrayed by a perspective drawing, probably produced by or for architect Joseph McArthur, who designed the tall office structure. William Sharp was a prominent Lincoln developer with diverse interests, including serving as president of the Lincoln Traction Company, which operated Lincoln's streetcar system.
