Historical Notes
F.H. Trowbridge ran the Ford-Mercury garage in downtown David City, Nebraska. In January, 1946, upon completion of his service in World War II, Dana and Vivian Trowbridge, returned to David City to help run the family business. Dana assumed sole ownership of the business in 1960. His son, Dana "Skip" Trowbridge joined the business in 1974, and assumed ownership after his father's death in 1975.
