Michael, Anne and Elizabeth were the children of Jacob and Mary Frieden Demuth. Michael C. was born September 25, 1896. He married Gladys Forde, September 10, 1924, in Logan, Iowa. They had one daughter, Yvonne. Michael died February, 1978, in Omaha, Nebraska. Anne was born February 25, 1899, in Nebraska. She married Mike Hoffman, April 20, 1920 at Presentation Church in Bellwood, Nebraska. They raised five children: Edmee, Kathleen, Rosemary, Eva and John. Anne and her husband moved to David City in 1928. Anne died May 5, 1940, and is buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, David City. Clara Elizabeth Demuth was born February 26, 1902, Bellwood. She married Fred Birkel, April 12, 1924 at Presentation Church, Bellwood. They raised two children: Darrell and Marilyn. Clara died June 3, 1988, and is buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, David City. |
