Chester is wearing a double-breasted dark suit with short pants, dark leggings, white shirt and knotted tie. Melvin is wearing a dark suit with short pants, dark leggings, jacket with large sailor collar, dark shirt with vertical tucks and a large, plaid bow tied under his chin. Fern is wearing a dress with long-sleeve bolero jacket outlined with contrasting-color, ruffle trim. |

Historical Notes |
Ethyl, Fred, Chester, Melvin and Fern were the children of John and Sarah Dollison. Ethyl was born November 1, 1884, in Stark County, Illinois, and died in David City, Nebraska, September 5, 1950. Fred, born February 20, 1887, married Flossie Prell, April 14, 1914. Fred died February 14, 1965. Chester was born October 1, 1891, and married Emma Gelwick, February 17, 1918. Chester died February 17, 1974. Melvin was born November 27, 1893, and married Merle Callen on March 4, 1917. Melvin died March 6, 1974. Fern was born September 13, 1895, and married Guy D. From, August 6, 1916. |
