Four women and two men are sitting in a car parked on the street beside St. Paul's Methodist Church located on the northeast corner of S. 12th and M Streets in Lincoln. The women are dressed in colonial costumes of dark dresses with white fichus, caps and aprons, and one of them sits at the steering wheel. The men are dressed in suits. A sign fastened to the back of the car reads: "Premier Aluminum Six, Magnetic Gear Shift.
The Premier Aluminum Six Automobile was built by the Premier Motor Company whose advertising claimed "Premier is the only woman's gas car built." The group in the car may have been travelling Chautauqua performers.
