A brick building with a flat roof stands with a sidewalk in front of it in this 5" x 3 1/2" black and white photograph. "Farmers State Bank" is painted near the top of the building. The building has two brick archways, one over the door and one over a window. A utility pole can be seen in front of the building.
Farmers State Bank was chartered in 1904. Rising City Bank was consolidated with this bank in December of 1928. In the summer of 1928, the bank building was enlarged, and a second safe was added.
