Two buildings with wooden siding stand next to each other in this 9 3/4" x 7 3/4" black and white photograph. The building on the left has a flat roof, one visible window, and a partially visible door. Two women stand in front of this building; one of them is standing near a ladder with a bucket on top of it. The building on the right has a gabled roof; "Risings Hall, 1880" is painted on the front wall near the peak of the gable. The first floor of this building has an awning with a sign reading "Capital Wagons." Five men are gathered outside this building. Two horses stand in front of this building as well. There is a staircase between the two buildings.
Benjamin Yordy owned the restaurant. Mrs. Yordy is the woman on the left in this photograph. The wagon shop was located in the first Town Hall building.
