This black and white lantern slide shows the flooded Missouri River in April of 1881. The image was taken looking north from the top of the Union Pacific Building, located on the northeast corner of 9th and Farnam Streets in Omaha, Nebraska. Several blocks of buildings can be seen, and the flooded river is visible in the background.
