Two buildings, each with two stories, are featured in this 6-1/2" x 4-1/2" black and white photograph. The one on the left has a sign that says "Evans Laundry Company: and the one on the right has a sign that says "The Evans, O.J Fee Service, Cleaners, Pressers, Dyers." The building on the right has a billboard on the roof, with four lamps overhanging it. The building on the left appears to be decorated for Christmas, with an evergreen trees suspended between two of the upper windows. A concrete sidewalk runs in front of the buildings, along a dirt street. One automobile is parked in the street. "Evans Laundry" is written on the photograph.
The Evans Laundry Company was located at 333 N. 12th Street in Lincoln, on part of the current (2012) site of the Lied Center for the Performing Arts. O. J. Fee was the president and treasurer of the company, and his wife Pearl was vice-president. The Evans site was cleared in 1986 for the construction of the Lied Center for the Performing Arts.
