This photographs shows trenches being dug for the Crawford waterworks. John N. Bruer, Minnie F. Bruer, Sam Oliver (the trenching operator) are standing next to the trencher. Trenching was dug for pipes from Crawford Reservoir about 7 miles southwest of town in 1907.
