Historical Notes
Peter E. Johnson was born in Sweden and immigrated to the U.S. at the age of three with his family. Ollie, the daughter of Swan and Ida Anderson, also emigrated from Sweden and settled on a farm south of David City. They raised five children and farmed in rural Butler County.
