A 5"x7" glass plate negative, bust portrait photograph of Rose and Lillie Etting, David City, Nebraska wearing matching wool dresses with three black velvet, pointed tabs descending down the bodice from the shoulder and collar seam with a row of three buttons at the end of each tab, a black velvet ribbon pinned to the bodice and black velvet high-stand collar of softly folded fabric with one button at the center front on the collar seam.

Historical Notes
Rose and Lillie were born in Iowa in September 1872, the twin daughters of George and Hannah Millsnan Etting. Their father was a miller in David City, Nebraska. Rose remained single and lived with her parents. Lillie married Roy W. Becker, October 9, 1901, in David City.
